It’s that time of year once again – Florida Key Club members, the chance for you to showcase your hard work, creativity, and dedication is finally here! Whether you’re passionate about service, leadership, or making a lasting impact in your community, this is your opportunity to shine. The Florida District is now accepting applications for awards and contests! It is the time for you to put your best foot forward and celebrate all that you have accomplished. Let’s dive right in!

• 10:59 PM CST for Divisions 1 & 2 &26D
• All Awards and Contests are judged prior to District Conference (Pre-DCON)
Types Of Awards
Individual Awards – recognizes members for their personal contributions, leadership, and dedication to the organization.
Club Awards – recognizes the achievements of entire Key Clubs for their collective efforts in service, leadership, and community impact.
Non-Application Awards – recognition typically based on automatic criteria like service hours, dues payments, or other measurable accomplishments. *No google form application is required.
Contests – opportunities for members and clubs to showcase their creativity and dedication through various competitions; allows members to highlight their skills in areas like public speaking, service projects, art, and digital media. *Oratory & Talent contests are performed at DCON.
Advisor Awards – acknowledges the dedication, leadership, and support of Faculty Advisors, Kiwanis Advisors, and other mentors who help guide Key Club members and ensure the success of the organization; it highlights the pivotal role advisors play in fostering service, leadership, and growth among students.

Steps to Apply for Awards
1) Go to https://floridakeyclub.org/awards-contests-2/
2) Scroll down and click on a category “Individual Awards”, “Club Awards” etc.
3) Click on award you would like to apply for
a) Read requirements, gather necessary materials, and then “click here to apply” to access the Google Form
Tips & Tricks
1) Not excluded to club officers, any Key Clubber can apply
2) Provides recognition for one’s own dedication and contributions to both the club and the community
3) Boosts resume and college applications
4) Opens doors for future leadership roles in any branch of Key Club: Club, District, or International
5) Do not wait until the last minute as certain Awards have different deadlines, guidelines, or criteria that take time
6) Be sure to complete your applications in one sitting, otherwise your progress might not be saved.
7) Although not required, it is recommended that your club has an Awards Committee to ensure even distribution of work and an increased chance of winning Awards
8) Results will be announced at our 2025 District Conference
