Key Club International Trustee

Hello everyone! I am Nicole Bunag, and I’m from the Indiana District. I currently serve as an International Trustee for the Florida District, California-Nevada-Hawaii KIWIN’s District, and Missouri-Arkansas District! Outside of Key Club, I enjoy watching TV shows and movies, and spending quality time with my family and friends. Some fun facts about me are that I am a triplet, my favorite music artist is Tate Mcrae, and I play soccer and basketball.

Centennial Challenge

Another exciting component to our Centennial Celebration is the Centennial Challenge, created by our Key Club International President David Robaina! The Centennial Challenge is a special recognition program designed to encourage membership growth, leadership development and increased fundraising and participation during our historic year.

The criteria for the challenge will be based on percentage growth, giving every district an equal chance to succeed regardless of size. Every district that meets the criteria will get recognized, meaning that we need to work together as a team to promote engagement, motivate new members, and create opportunities for leadership and service within our communities. This is a special opportunity for you all to make a lasting impact as we celebrate Key Club International’s centennial. Let’s grow together and make this milestone year unforgettable!

With the Centennial Challenge, each district accumulates points toward recognition. Here are the accomplishments and criteria that earn points for districts:

  1. 10% membership growth.
  2. 10% increase in attendance at the 2025 Key Club International Convention.
  3. 10% increase in attendance at the district’s convention.
  4. 10% increase in applications for Youth Opportunities Fund grants.
  5. 10% increase in Global Leadership Certificate participation.
  6. 10% increase in registration for the Global Engagement Rally.
  7. 10% increase in donations to either Start Strong: Zambia or to Thirst Project — or if the district has given to both campaigns, 10% increase to both cumulatively.
  8. 10% increase in district service hours.
  9. 10% increase in donations to the Key Club birthday fundraiser in March 2025.
  10. All promotional content on Key Club International social media related to the Centennial Challenge is reposted on district social media accounts.

Best of all, districts that reach these milestones have an opportunity to participate in the following rewards at the 2025 Key Club International Convention:

  1. Dinner at Planet Hollywood at Disney Springs on July 4, 2025.
  2. Networking session with past presidents.
  3. Limited-edition, centennial-themed apparel for members of winning districts.
  4. District selection of 30 minutes of music to be played during the President’s Ball — for the district with the highest percentage of membership growth.
  5. Award presented during the Recognition Session.
  6. District walkouts before general sessions with choice of music.
  7. District’s choice of seating during general sessions and House of Delegates.
  8. Free hotel room suite for district with highest percentage across the criteria.

The districts with the greatest membership growth will get priority on the awards. For example, those districts’ members will walk out of the ballroom last, have first choice of Planet Hollywood dinner time/seating, etc.

By participating in the Centennial Challenge, we will not only honor our history but also set the foundation for the future success and growth of Key Club.

Structure of Key Club International

International

Key Club is a global organization made up of 33 districts, with clubs in non-districted areas. It is governed by the International Board of Trustees, which consists of the International President, International Vice President, and 11 International Trustees. These members are elected by delegates during the annual International Convention.

Districts

Each district is governed by a District Board, made up of both elected and appointed student leaders. The District Board is led by the Executive Board, which consists of the elected Governor, Secretary, and Treasurer, and appointed Editor, Webmaster, and Executive Assistant. District Committee Chairs are also appointed through an application process to lead the district’s committees. Additionally, the District Board includes Lieutenant Governors, who serve as liaisons between the district and its division.
