District Governor Alejandro Ganaza is a stand-out leader in his community. Previously serving as the Division 27A Lieutenant Governor and the Major Emphasis Subcommittee chair on the Service and Partners Committee, Governor Alejandro is excited to use his experience and plans to lead the Florida District to success.

Alejandro’s favorite Key Club core value is Inclusiveness, a fact that is undoubtedly reflected in his Governor’s Project, Lit For Life, which works to serve the entire community through the world of literacy. Whether it’s through encouraging the development of little libraries; emphasizing diversity, equity, and inclusion; or making training manuals for Lieutenant Governors, Alejandro aims to ensure that every child is allowed to foster proper literacy skills.

In addition to literacy, Alejandro spends time advocating for the environment. From working with the organization Big Blue and You to giving presentations to local students, to collaborating with other environmentalists, he strives to spread awareness about and work towards fixing the problems our oceans face. When asked about his passions, Alejandro stated that he loves “sustainability and going zero waste for the benefit of my health and the planet” and believes that “the idea of changing habits little by little is so incredible.”

Outside of advocacy and Key Club, Alejandro enjoys watching The Gentlemen, eating sushi, and listening to Rauw Alejandro & Fisher. He far prefers Facetime over text, loves to try new foods, and, of course, is extremely passionate about serving his community. Alejandro hopes to attend Columbia University and double major in Environmental Science and International Relations, later hoping to work in the Department of State or as an international ambassador.

Governor Alejandro has big plans in store and looks forward to reaching many goals with the Florida District. He is ready and excited for this service year!
