Awards and Contests are Open!
Who can apply?: All Key Clubs and members are encouraged to apply and nominate others for awards.
What are we talking about?: The many awards and contests available in the Florida District of Key Club.
How can you apply?: This year we will again be using Google Forms for submission of applications. A Youtube audition is also required for the Oratory and Talent Contests. You can find the applications on the website (link listed at the end of this page). The instructions and criteria are located on each form. Follow the instructions carefully to avoid disqualification. No more than one application must be submitted for each award or contest.
Key Dates: Dues must be submitted by February 1, 2022, to be eligible to apply for awards and contests. The submissions for all applications are already opened, and are due Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at 11:59 PM EST. Oratory and Talent contestants for on stage performances at our district conference (DCON) will be notified by April 9, 2023.
There are 5 different categories for Awards and Contests:
Advisors and Sponsors Awards: These awards are for acknowledging all the amazing club advisors, and sponsors in the Florida District.
Club Awards: These awards showcase the most impactful clubs in the Florida District of Key Club! There is sure to be an award just for your outstanding club!
Individual Awards: Did your club officers, class directors, or club members do an exceptional job this year? Acknowledge their accomplishments through their corresponding individual award.
Contests: These contests provide recognition to the Key Club that submits the best project display boards, video, scrapbooks, and more! This category also includes the Oratory and Talent Contests.
Non-Application Awards: This is a special category of awards that does not require an application. Information will be gathered from your clubs and submitted Pride Reports.
