District Secretary Daniela Aguas is a Florida District veteran and is excited to spend her final year on the District Board as your Secretary. Having served as the Division 27C Lieutenant Governor for two terms and the Division 26C Lieutenant Governor for one, Daniela understands the needs of clubs and plans to use her experience to better her District.

Succeeding in the role of District Secretary of the Florida District Board of Trustees is no small feat. Daniela’s responsibilities include taking minutes during board meetings, monitoring club secretary Keymmunity accounts, and keeping track of service hours. When asked why she ran for the position, Daniela explained that she is “very proud of all the work we’ve done as one of the largest student-led organizations in the world,” and she “would like to make an even larger impact through the position of District Secretary, promoting service across Florida, Turks and Caicos, and Grand Cayman.”

For the 2024–2025 service year, Daniela’s main goals are reaching 75% Officer Information Form submission by November 15, increasing Monthly Report submissions, and increasing communication across the Florida District. She hopes to inspire other Key Club members to lead and serve with the same determination with which she tackles her responsibilities.

While she spends much of her time on Key Club and stated, “my first conversation topic when I meet new people is Key Club,” Daniela also has many interests outside of the organization. An upcoming senior at Young Women’s Preparatory Academy in Miami, Daniela enjoys spending time hanging out with friends, going to the beach, and working out. Daniela plans to go to the University of Miami where she’ll pave her way to being a lawyer.

Most passionate about nurturing the world’s youth, Daniela intends to use her love of leadership and service to continue making a difference. She is a wonderful resource, mentor, and friend, and she is incredibly excited for the year ahead!
