District Editor Willow Young is absolutely thrilled to spend her last year in Key Club as District Editor. Previously serving as the Lieutenant Governor of Division 1A and the DCON Chair, Willow looks forward to highlighting all of the amazing aspects of Florida Key Club through her responsibilities as Editor.

The District Editor is involved in representing the Florida District through articles, publications, graphics, and presentations. Willow’s goals for the year include revamping Key’p Up, helping Lieutenant Governors throughout the newsletter process, and providing resources for club editors to maximize the product of their efforts. Willow chose this position because she “wants to improve our publications and really emphasize the work of individual clubs and members.” She believes that through District Editor she can make learning about the organization enjoyable and informative.

In the future, Willow hopes to major in architecture and one day have her own firm where she can put a focus on sustainable design. She is excited to use her servant leadership experience in Key Club to continue making an impact in her career. With character building being her favorite Key Club core value, Willow is most passionate about bringing out the good in others and helping them realize what they are capable of.

Outside of Key Club and other service organizations, Willow enjoys traveling, watching The Matrix, and learning about other cultures. She is an incoming senior at West Florida High School and likes to listen to Arcade Fire while studying. Willow also loves public speaking and performing with her band and enjoys helping others with their stage presence, professional setting or not.

Willow stated that she is “thrilled to have the opportunity to write and design for the District” and hopes to help everyone have the best possible service year!
