Hello Key Clubbers!
My name is Claudia, and I am honored to serve as your District Treasurer for the 2025–2026 term. I am so excited for the year ahead and grateful for the opportunity to support our district in this important role
Leadership Journey
Before stepping into this position, I served as my club’s Treasurer for two years. Those experiences gave me the foundation I needed to understand club finances and the importance of communication between club officers and members.
Now, as District Treasurer, I oversee our district budget, track reports, and support dues submission. I also work closely with the Financial Committee on FLOF and YOF applications, along with Endowment Week.
Vision for the Year
I hope to foster a stronger relationship between clubs and our district through improved communication. In order to make this happen, so far I have started a monthly Treasurer Newsletter (released every 15th of the month), and have created a Treasurer Group Chat where club treasurers, presidents, and advisors alike can form a community, find answers, and learn more about finance and how it can better their service.
Fun Facts
- I’m a rising senior at Sarasota High School.
- I love working out and recently became a certified Pilates instructor!
- I’m a foodie at heart—my favorite cuisine is Thai.
- My music taste is super diverse, from 80s classics to 2000s rap, house, hip-hop, and country. My current favorite song is Burn, Burn, Burn by Zach Bryan.
- I once tried beaded embroidery… but let’s just say it’s not my hidden talent!
Looking Ahead
For college, I hope to stay in-state. Currently, my top school is Florida State—go Noles! I plan to study finance. As a treasurer, I’m exposed to budgets and financial terms that have helped me learn more about the financial industry—and I’ve fallen in love with it even more.
Final Reflections
This year, I am most excited about getting our clubs on a path to financial security so that they can be able to grow their service even more. To all my fellow Key Clubbers—I am here for you.
